Author Tricia Brown who wrote: Charlie & The Blanket Toss talked to us. She lives in Anchorage. The students were excited to meet her since they read her book for Battle of the Books the previous year.

And then one of the students read their tribute story that they had written called "J & H and the Blanket Toss"
They are really inspired to be writers and have been busy writing and illustrating on their laptops or in their notebooks.
